Get this… Sharon has a degree in Finance and Risk Management. She literally went to school to learn how to minimize risk. Which makes it all the sweeter that after 5 years of corporate life, she took the ultimate risk and quit her job to pursue fitness full-time.
Truth be told, it wasn’t all that risky. Sharon had been a lifelong athlete of contact sports like lacrosse and field hockey. She loved to train and could squat upwards of 200 pounds. Hell, she even started boxing as a means to blow off steam during her 9-to-5 days (and picked it up so quickly that she started teaching classes at her boxing gym). We’re no experts in risk-reward ratios, but we’d like to think she was kind of built for this life.
Now she’s NASM certified and still relentlessly pursuing the sweet science of boxing. Sharon’s class combines her strong athletic background with her extensive training knowledge. It’s gritty, empowering, and anything but risky.
